Fish with Leek and Cheese Sauce (6 to 9 months)
Ingredients
150gr fish
175ml milk
30gr butter
60gr leek
45gr cheddar cheese
1tbsp flour
1 bay leaf
Method
1 Put the fish into a pan with the milk and bay leaf bring to the boil then cover and simmer for 5 minutes until the fish is well cooked.then strain the milk and keep to one side make sure there are no bones in the fish
2 melt the butter finely chop the leek and add to the butter then cook gently until the leek has softened
3 stir the flour into the leek mixture make into a paste and cook for about 1 minute then add the milk a bit at a time bring to the boil and cook until stir it all the time until the mixtue thickens remove from the heat and add the cheese stir until it has melted then puree the fish with the leek and cheese sauce
